MORE ABOUT ME

Before completing a Masters in Creative Arts Therapy I worked as a school teacher, welfare worker and counsellor.

I worked for over 12 years as an arts therapist at MonashChildren's and ran a group within the Monash Health Butterfly Eating Disorder Day Program.

Currently I am employed as an arts therapist at headspace, an early intervention youth mental health service where I work with individual clients and run two groups.
I have a private practice where I see a range of clients as well as supervising students and allied health clinicians.

Over the years I have developed a range of training sessions for staff in various settings. Several are currently running.

I enjoy working with parents and families where I draw  upon my clinical experience, my training and facilitation of 'Tuning in to Teens' (parenting skills program) as well as my own experience as a parent.

I have conducted workshops,  presented at conferences and  co-authored a book chapter;
CREATIVE ARTS THERAPIES AND CLIENTS WITH EATING DISORDERS
Chapt. 7; Creative Arts Therapy with adolescents in an inpatient eating disorder program.

My approach to both therapy and supervision is informed and supported by various models including Internal Family Systems and Polyvagal Theory.
